We also expanded our geographic footprint into Atlantic Canada and Quebec. We relied on our strong due diligence and underwriting protocols to meet the ever-increasing demand for private lending solutions while managing the quality of our mortgage originations. Because of broker partners like you, we helped Canadians reach their goals and provided a lifeline to those who would have been without options.<\/span><\/p>\n In an environment of high inflation and interest rates, traditional financing will remain out of reach for a growing number of Canadians in the year ahead and beyond.\u00a0Borrowers will increasingly need access to lenders who can think outside of the box and get them the flexible financing they need. Private lending expertise has become a must-have \u2013 and your clients increasingly expect it.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Change is a constant and we\u2019ve built a dynamic business model to ensure we can adapt to changing conditions and continue to provide the solutions you rely on us for. We remain your trusted partner in any market condition.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Continuously striving to serve you better<\/b><\/p>\n We saw unprecedented volume this year \u2013 more than $1 billion in mortgage applications over the peak summer months alone. As business has continued to grow, we have continued to expand our talent base. This year, we nearly doubled our team. By continually growing and diversifying our roster of experts, we drive product and process innovation to enable you to serve a broader and more diverse range of borrowers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n We also undertook a major redevelopment project to relaunch our websites and create a unifying theme across our business lines. We\u2019re in the process of launching our enhanced broker site for Canadian Mortgages Inc., as well as\u00a0 new site for our servicing division, CMI Mortgage Servicing, and a parent site for CMI Financial Group. We\u2019ve made it easier for you to navigate our sites, and we\u2019ve enhanced the resources available to keep you informed, save you time, add value to clients and help you grow your business.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Giving back to our communities<\/b><\/p>\n We remain deeply committed to giving back and making a difference in our communities.
